The LANDING GEAR LOCK is a stainless
steel locking device that secures the
extendable legs of a trailer or storage
vehicle in the locked down position. By
locking these legs in place, unauthorized
movement of the box is highly unlikely.
Due to the choice of steel, shank and lock,
the device cannot be readily cut off, bent
or manipulated. This tool is ideal for
construction trailers left on unattended
sites, high value loads and for long term
storage trailers.
The LANDING GEAR LOCK is patent
pending and made in the United States.
The lock weighs about 7 pounds and it has a built in handle for ease in carrying it. The pin or shank
is attached o the frame by a chain helping to avoid loss of parts. Assembly is done after the legs
are cranked down and then the device is fitted into the top of the leg assembly and pin locked in
place.
The trailer landing gear lock is a simple and effective way to maintain the security of any parked trailer. It provides protection against a thief’s ability to retract the landing gear by pinning the gear in the down position. This mechanical device is made of stainless steel and uses a hidden shackle lock to secure the pin to the lock body. It is rust and corrosion protected and will last for years. The device is mounted by the driver in about 10 seconds after the gear is cranked down.
